Imagine a space full of ideas and possibilities – a place where both creativity and failure are embraced as steps towards success. In our Makerspace, campers work with a variety of simple materials to create and invent EPIC solutions to design challenges.
Whether they’re collaborating to create an 8-foot rocket ship using cardboard and egg cartons or figuring out how to create a catapult – campers are engaged in highly-creative, challenging pursuits.
We design our challenges to be challenging, and we don’t provide step-by-step instructions. Coached by our fun-tastic counselors, campers define their goals and find solutions on their own through prototyping and testing. Along the way, they discover that however hard a challenge seems at first, if you believe in yourself and keep at it, you can achieve what you set your mind to.
