Staff/Hiring

  • Just like our physical summer camps, we require our staff to go through state and federal background checks.

Camper Safety

  • We will ensure that that staff-camper ratio is 1:8 to allow for children to have the best, safest online camp experience.
  • We require our campers to have a laptop with video and audio for camper safety.
    • If a child is off the screen for more than 5 minutes, one of our staff members will send a text message or call a parent/guardian. Camper safety is our utmost priority. 

Preventing Zoom-Bombing

  • The staff member running the online session will be admitting campers registered through the system from the Zoom meeting waiting room. If the individual is not listed on our official roster, they will not be allowed to participate in the meeting.
  •  The staff member registered as the host of the meeting will disable screen-sharing for everyone, except the co-hosts.
  • We will not be publicly posting the link to the Zoom meetings on our website, social media, etc. We will only be sharing the meeting link via Campsite registered e-mails
