What You'll Do

Serve as a key partner to the Camp Director, playing a pivotal role in planning, leading, and executing an epic summer experience.
Build relationships with campers, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
Be flexible and capable of stepping into the role of the Camp Director or other staff members as needed, ensuring seamless camp operations.
Contribute to making camp a magical place for campers and staff by taking on any necessary tasks.

Requirements for Assistant Directors

1-3 years of hands-on experience working with children.
Flexibility and willingness to step into any role at camp as needed.

Logistics for Assistant Directors

Pre-Training:

2-3 hours of self-study prior to leadership training upon being hired.
Two Saturdays of leadership training in May.
Team dinner at the end of May.

Training: Counselor training during the first weekend of June.

Camp Duration: 4-8 weeks between the second week of June and the first week of August, excluding the week of July 4th. Daily hours are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Post-Camp:

Reflection and celebration activities in August.
~10 hours to close out the year in August.
