Be a stupendous partner in making camp epic
Work with the camp director to co-create an amazing summer experience for campers and staff. Plan, lead, execute, and make camp a blast!
Keep camp running smoothly
Ensure that rosters are ready, materials are stocked, epipens are in place, facilities are well maintained. Ensure parents and staff are thrilled with how well-organized camp is!
Run the junior leader and extended care programs
Help junior LITs lead aspects of camp and make extended care a fun, relaxed, happening place to be!
Stay flexible
Step up to be the camp director when needed, manage campers when counselors need a hand, and just have crazy fun with our kids. It’s all part of your amazing, tiring, rewarding day!
Requirements
2-3 years hands-on experience working with kids
Desire to be a positive leader to camp counselors and LITs
Time Commitment
Training
2-3 Hours of Self-Study Before Leadership Training (Upon Being Hired)
2 Saturdays of Leadership Training (May)
Team Dinner (End of May)
Counselor Training (1st Weekend of June)
Camp
4-8 Weeks Between 2nd Week of June – 1st Week of August (No Camp Week of July 4th)
