Dear Imagineerz Family,

Safety is a top priority for us at Camp Imagineerz. We closely monitor CDC and state and local health department guidelines at all times to ensure the health and well-being of our campers and staff. Based on their recommendations, if any of these protocols merit any changes, we will do so and communicate accordingly. For now, we plan to operate under these guidelines below this summer.

To ensure maximum safety, we will institute:

Vaccinations: All Imagineerz staff is fully vaccinated!

Contactless Sign-In and Sign-Out: Parents will remain in their cars for check-in and check-out. Staff members will walk each child to and from their parent’s car. We will encourage parents to ensure that only one identified adult (a parent or guardian) is in charge of dropping and picking up their child(ren) every day.

Minimum Number of People on Campus: We will not allow any visitors at camp. 

Masks:  Staff and volunteers will be required to wear masks indoors. To ensure that camp runs smoothly for the entire summer, we strongly encourage all campers to wear masks at camp when indoors (unless it is medically unsafe). Staff and campers will not be in masks when outdoors.

Hand Hygiene: Campers will be required to wash or sanitize their hands as soon as they come to camp as well as before every meal/snack and after every restroom visit.

Inside & Outside Time: We will make efforts to utilize outdoor space as much as possible for our activities. As usual, counselors will be trained to use shaded areas, have campers regularly apply sunscreen, and encourage children to constantly hydrate themselves. Campers will apply their own sunscreen, and sunscreen sharing will not be permitted.

Pre-Screening:

At drop-off, parents will be asked screening questions to ensure that no household members are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or have had exposure to COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to camp. Parents will be required to confirm this before their child may participate in camp.

Ongoing Screening:

There will be a strict “stay-at-home” sick policy in place for all staff and campers. Parents and guardians are encouraged to keep their child home and report to camp leadership in case of any illness. Children will be allowed back at camp once there are no symptoms and has a negative Covid test.
