Designed specifically for first graders, our Budz program offers a gentle introduction to the i-Can! mindset. This program breaks down activities into manageable steps, allowing for a slower pace to ensure every child feels nurtured and supported. Our staff provides extra attention to help Budz adapt and thrive, fostering confidence and comfort within the camp environment.
Rootz forms our largest group of campers, engaging in a dynamic blend of activities tailored to develop their i-Can! skills. They dive into making, performing, and playing, becoming master creators in our Makerspace, taking lead roles in camp plays, and collaborating to tackle outdoor challenges against the counselors. This hands-on approach helps Rootz campers grow their skills in a fun and supportive setting.
For our oldest campers in grades 4-5, the Leadz program offers a leadership role where they mentor younger campers and hone their i-Can! mindsets by teaching others. Under the guidance of our camp director, Leadz learn effective leadership techniques and enjoy the privilege of joining the counselors’ team during outdoor challenges. It’s a rewarding experience that empowers them to become confident leaders.
