What You'll Do

Collaborate closely with the Camp Director to craft an unforgettable summer for both campers and staff, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
Maintain smooth operations daily, managing camper rosters, material stocking, emergency preparedness, and facility upkeep.
Oversee and enhance the Junior LIT and PM Extended Care programs, guiding Junior LITs and making extended care both fun and relaxing.
Display versatility by stepping into the Camp Director’s role when needed, assisting with camper management, and engaging enthusiastically in camp activities.

A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with children.
A strong desire to lead positively, influencing camp counselors and Junior LITs.

Training:

Complete 2-3 hours of self-study prior to leadership training.
Attend two Saturdays of leadership training in May and a team dinner at the end of May.
Participate in counselor training during the first weekend of June.

Camp Duration:

Serve between 4-8 weeks from the second week of June to the first week of August, excluding the week of July 4th. Daily hours are from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Post-Camp: Engage in reflection and celebration activities in August.
