A Summer Job for Actors, Makers, and Lifelong Campers

What You'll Do

Collaborate with staff to instill the i-Can! Mindset in campers daily.
Engage in activities such as making, acting, playing, and bonding with campers.
Maintain effective communication with parents.
Commit to making each camp day an epic experience.

Counselor Specializations:

Acting Coaches: Bring theatrical passion to guide campers in delivering an unforgettable end-of-week performance.
Making Coaches: Ideal for tinkerers, engineers, artists, and builders who thrive in our dynamic Makerspace environment.

Requirements for Counselors

At least one year of college experience.
A positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

Logistics for Counselors

Training: Includes 2-3 hours of self-study before leadership training, a team dinner, and comprehensive counselor training.

Team Dinner: Friday, May 31st from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Counselor Training: June 1-June 2 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Set-Up Days:

Palo Alto Team: Friday, June 7th from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Los Altos Team: Sunday, July 7th from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Camp Duration: 6 weeks from June 10–July 26, excluding the week of July 4th.

Palo Alto Team: June 10–June 28.
Los Altos Team: July 8–July 26.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Post-Camp: Reflection and celebration activities in August.
