What You'll Do

As a Senior LIT at Camp Imagineerz, you’ll immerse yourself in a vibrant leadership role where your impact extends across the entire camp community:

  • Engage and Empower: Play and bond with campers both indoors and outdoors, becoming a key part of their camp experience.
  • Lead and Innovate: Collaborate with counselors to craft an unforgettable camp atmosphere, from all-camp games to creative performances.
  • Specialize Your Experience: Choose your focus area to match your strengths and interests:
    • Making LITs: Lead the construction of life-size forts and props, guiding campers in their creative endeavors.
    • Acting LITs: Take center stage in camp skits and help direct campers in their performances.
    • Spirit LITs: Energize the camp environment by leading songs and ensuring all campers feel included and valued.

The Senior LIT program is designed to foster a comprehensive set of skills that will prepare you for leadership in any setting:

At Camp Imagineerz, you’re not just part of a program; you’re a pivotal force in shaping a dynamic, supportive environment.

Logistics

Hours:

Rooster Senior LITs: 8:15 am – 4:00 pm

  • Early 7:45 am Start on Mondays

Owl Senior LITs: 10:00 am – 5:45 pm

  • Early 9:30 am Start on Mondays

Cost: $0/Week (Eligible for Community Service Hours at Most Schools)

Time Commitment:

  • Training:
    • 2-3 Hours of Self-Study Before Training Day
    • Team Dinner (Thursday, May 29th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm)
    • Senior LIT Training:
      • Palo Alto Team: Friday, June 6th from 10:30 am – 6 pm
      • Los Altos Team: Sunday, July 6th from 10:30 am – 6 pm

Note: Participating in training for your location is mandatory.

  • Post-Camp: Reflection and Celebration (Sometime in August)
